MicroImpulse holds several patents for the technology (hardware and software designs) and as well as some enhanced method of measuring physiological parameters of living organisms, with focus on measuring respiration and heart parameters in humans. The Vital Sign Monitor is based on this patent. The main differences between our patent and other patented solutions are:

• Long working distance (pt. up to 4 meters).
• Sub millimeter motions (depending on noise).
• Measures relative size of motions (distinguish between the
• bodily motion of patient and motion of heart)
• Size of illuminated zone is controllable.
